The following settings will prevent someone to turn off your computer. This is useful if for example you leave the computer for a while and you're worried that someone else is going to shut down your computer.
Follow the steps below.
Click Start, Run, type regedit and press Enter.
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer
Value Name: NoClose
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Data: (0 = shutdown enabled, 1 = shutdown disabled)
